My first jump was a tandem in 1994 when I was 14 years old and I finally got my license in 1999. I competed for almost 10 years, firstly in freefly and later 4-way VFS, winning a few medals along the way. I have also participated in UK, UAE, European and World vertical formation records, the largest being the 138-way World Record in 2012.

I’ve been coaching and organising freefly for almost 20 years and have over 20,000 skydives. I feel very fortunate to have found this path and I still love the flying and get a huge kick from seeing my students succeed.

Mishka Lucaci Romania

I began skydiving in Romania in 2001 when I was 15 years old and after a few years I travelled abroad, packing parachutes, then doing tandem videos and AFF, but always freeflying and tunnel flying whenever possible. I’ve worked in a few different places, but I've loved Skydive Dubai Desert DZ since I started working there in 2013.

Over the years I’ve been part of some really cool skydives like the 2016 & 2022 Woman’s Head Down World Record, 2022 UAE Head Down Record and 2023 E Record. I now have over 11,000 jumps and still keep pushing. I love teaching all types of skydiving and recommend a combined tunnel/sky training structure as the fastest way to progress.

Omar Mohammed UAE

I started skydiving in 2013 in Dubai and fell in love with freeflying immediately after getting my A-license. I became an AFF instructor in 2015 and accumulated a lot of experience with teaching skydivers. In 2018 I started Freefly coaching at skydive Dubai desert campus and now have over 7000 skydives.

I have been in and helped organize on the UAE head down record in 2022, participated in the vertical World Record attempts in 2018 and 2022 and the European head down record attempts in 2023. In the tunnel I’ve won a few medals locally and internationally, both in VFS and dynamic flying. I still love to Freefly and teach people how to Freefly efficiently, have fun and be safe, in that order.

Nawaf Ahmed UAE

I started jumping in the military with a round canopy in 1999, then started skydiving in Dubai in 2014. I now have more than 5,600 jumps and hold USPA coach, tandem master and rigger ratings. I started coaching in 2020, organizing some camps in tracking and freefly.

I am also a tunnel flyer with more than 400 hours and have competed in local competitions in 2-way dynamic, 4-way VFS and 4-way FS, winning medals in all these disciplines. I participated in the 34-way UAE vertical record and the 100-way E-record attempts.

I teach belly-fly, free-fly and tracking, which gives all the skills flyers need to progress and join camps and events around the world. I love to fly and I’m always ready to teach body flying.

2019 was the year I got my A license and I made my mind up to start to do freefly jumps and tunnel training. At the end of 2022 I had around 3000 jumps and started to do freefly coaching at skydive Dubai desert campus.

I’ve been part of UAE HD record, Guinness indoor skydive 30-way HD & HU world record. I also participated in Women's HD world record and European HD record. I’ve won a few medals locally, both in VFS and dynamic tunnel flying. I’m in love with teaching and organizing freefly jumps.

Simon Whittle UK

I started jumping when I was 18 and have been working full time in the industry since 2013. I stared working full time in wind tunnels and transferred to skydive Dubai where I worked for the last 5 years, I now have 1000+ hours of tunnel time and 8000 skydives.

I have competed in and won multiple tunnel flying competitions including a medal at the FAI world championship. I have also participated in multiple skydiving records across the world and have a wealth of experience coaching people both in the tunnel and in the sky. More recently I have participated and helped plan multiple wingsuit demo jumps for Skydive Dubai. I enjoy coaching all levels of tunnel flying, skydiving and all levels of wingsuiting.
